How much are jewels worth?
Does anyone have a source that explains the value of gemstones? I understand that diamonds are the top course list, but what about things like emeralds, Rubies and Amethysts! Sometimes you'll see a piece of jewelry with a stone and is quite expensive - but hard to say if the amount of stone or just pay mainly for the precious metal is set .. I recently bought a charm sterling silver with real amethyst, and although chuffed that he is so cheap (£ 5) I'm wondering now how 'precious "These stones are indeed ...
